Triad Community Unit School District #2 in southwest Illinois awarded a $12.3 million contract to K&S Associates, Inc. of St. Louis to construct a new 80,000-square-foot additions and also to renovate facilities at C.A. Henning School at 520 East Highway 40. The school is located in Madison County about 18 miles east of St. Louis.

The new 72,000-square-foot addition at the school, serves students in pre-kindergarten through first grade, a new gymnasium, two-story classroom and administrative space. A new 8,000-square foot-addition offered four new classrooms for Pre-Kindergarten classes. New renovations included upgrades of the cafeteria kitchen and mechanical/electrical systems as well as new finishes at the school. Project completion September 11, 2008.
